Undercover x Trash: homage to Jan Svankmajer

Such a beautiful work. I love it and i mean it.
This tribute to Mr. Jan Švankmajer. Jan Svankmajer was born 4 September 1934 in Prague and is a Czech surrealist artist. His work consist of several media. He is better known for his surreal animations and features in which later on inspired many well known artist, the likes of Tim Burton, The Brothers Quay as well as Terry Gilliam. He is more often good at creating and using stop motion. This artist is one to respect especially when it comes to use of food as a medium for his movies.

Quite a considerable amount of the movies by him includes the use of seeing the world through a minor's perspective. One example of his movie is the short film "Down to the Cellar".

FW/07 Undercover Mens

I have always been a UC fan. No duobt about it, im so in love this time for his 07/08 collection altough there isnt much publicity in terms of fashion runway shows for the mens collection at all. i still love the way he subtlely and professionaly depict the wicked humour. i see the way he inject such elements as rather interesting and captivating in the viewer end as when his garments merge in one, the entire show looked very fascinating. some amateurs say it looked like clown models in costume party. but hey, if your there for a show, your there for a performance. i thnk Jun deserves all the respect espcially in terms of his forte on the usage of contructionism in fabrics and garment wear. his talent in this is remarkable, if not undeniable.

this piece of garment im featuring here is the FW/07 collection. the pants is indeed very comfortable and yet body hugging whereby the fabric stretches only alittle to suit your contours. the usage of his trademark elastics and hem make it very beautiful. should i just say "but beautiful v5"? hahha. anyway this jump pants is also available online at SlamJam Store for 344euros:

cheers, yet another masterpiece is born.
