Ann Demeulemeester FW 10

Another masterpiece collection from the goddess - Ann Demeulemeester. I felt in love instantly upon looking at the collection. Her use of the material texture is excellent. Not to mention the accessories this time round was very intricate and fascinating. The belt that is worn by the models exhibits a sense of class as well as a mood of sophistication. Not only am I impressed by the fabrics, I am drooling over the leather boots. Clearly this collection is much more elaborate on details and aesthetics compared to her SS 10 collection. Im throwing my green on her collection for this season. This is absolutely the most amazing show for me this season. For a Ann fan, this is totally dream come true.

GUIDI's 2010 S/S line up's preview was shown at the Lift etage. Inspired from the use of colours by Giotto's painting of Jesus Christ, the collection reminds us the world of paintings with the depth and the thickness of colours, portraying the past and the present in terms of time. Everything has a meaning and is functional. Support of walking and the form that only the users will know, gives the user fun and satisfaction simultaneously.

Julius FW 10

The theme for Julius FW 10 collection is "goth_ik;". Indeed a very strong collection. i must confess the way tatsuro san brings back his trademark style of black fabrics is very mesmerizing. The high boots, drape tops and leather holsters gauntlets straps are simply mind blowing. His styling for these sleek models is extremely gorgeous. There is a fine balance of tight and wide silhouettes. The coats are a must for this season. In fact, the iconic julius "blood" red leather jacket is back.

As a whole its a very engaging collection. Lets hope to see more of the actual pieces to witness their detailing as well as material quality.

Lookbook: Femme Mar 10

I love the way this lady mix and match all the items nicely. Most of the items are from Ann Demeulemeester. Many of the looks are very beautiful and holds the general aesthetics together firmly. Her use of layering is splendid. Beautiful way to make a day, whether if its for work or for a relax day-out, these looks sure do the right thing.

Misomber Nuan

Great job from a great designer. Fuanco Nuan places high emphasis on quality and sophisticated designs. I personally like his items and has always been a great fan of him. Knowing him as a friend, I truly like his thinking and way of creating pieces. The berlin based designer is simply fantastic. Please give your full support for this very very splendid designer. There are times when you got cash but you cant get it. Now, most of his items are really very one piece based and i am not too sure if he has set up stockists yet. So stay tune.

Sistere SS10

Very AWESOME label from japan. This label has been around for only awhile. Compared to label like Julius or Siva, Sistere is actually quite a new face of course. However, they do not lose out on their detailing and material quality. Sistere has a lot of influence on military as well as unconventional fashion aesthetics. Im sure we are all too used to hearing labels going against fashion staples and how they tried to differentiate themselves by offering more of what others has not. For Sistere, they have been keeping their collections pretty much underground all these while. In fact, i remembered my first time hearing them was actually seeing their mini collection showcased at Zozo.jp. It is a very impressive japanese label. Not to mention it still a pretty young and upcoming label with a lot to give for the scene.
